This is a handy tool if you run floating axles in your car. This is an axle pulley designed to thread into the end of you axle providing a nice handle to pull the axle out of the rear end housing. These are great for may racecars with 9 inch ford Full floater rears, Winters and Franklin quick change and many other floater axle assemblies. These were made in a Fab shop and are an economical alternative to the higher priced versions you see for sale from larger tool companies and from many rear end manufactured. They are machined from solid aluminum bar stock and will not break or bend. The threads on this puller are 3/8-24 fine thread, which is the common size found on most axles. If you require another thread size, you can simply remove the old cap screw bolt and insert the size you need. You could even use this to pull the camshaft from your Ford engine if you desire simply by changing the thread size.
