These 12V LED bulbs are manufactured using 1 SMD type LED.  The single forward firing SMD chip provides intense light in a 140 degree pattern from the end of the bulb.  Each of our 5050 series SMD chips contains 3 LEDs for a total of 3 LEDs per bulb!  Our single 5050 SMD chips provide nearly 3-4 times the light of most traditional LEDs.  This allows an incredibly compact bulb that is only slightly bigger than the size of the bulb base itself.  Our 5050 SMDs help us to produce some of the brightest LED bulbs available.  Simply put, there is not a brighter bulb available in this compact size!  These bulbs are compact enough to replace ANY incandescent bulb, and provide a significant increase in brightness.  Visit our tech section for more information on the differences between LED and SMD technology.

These bulbs feature a T-10 wedge type base (see chart for base compatibility).  They provide superior results in applications where light is needed both from the sides of the bulb and from the end of the bulb to illuminate the intended area.  These LED bulbs are the best choice for for gauge clusters, automotive side marker lamps, and more.  Choose from six colors or mix and match to suit your needs.
