Super 7° and standard 7° locks and retainers do not interchange. Be sure that the locks that you purchase are correct for your retainer design. We sell valve locks in sets of eight because many modern race engines use a combinations of valve stem sizes and some engine builders use different install heights on exhaust and intake valves. Therefore, you are purchasing 16 pieces or 8 pair. This will allow you to select the optimum locks for your engine application.
